About Me
I’ve been solving UNIX problems since before Docker was a thing. I work with companies who care about their infrastructure, helping them build things that are stable, secure, and maintainable. I’m based in Toronto, and I work globally.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve led operations for large-scale platforms and managed infrastructure serving millions of users. I’ve delivered high-stakes production migrations with zero impact to end users and supported systems critical to the operation of the global internet.
I’ve built and led distributed IT and operations teams—hiring, mentoring, and guiding strategy—and provided direct input on technology decisions at the executive level.
I call this work “Internet Solutioneering.” It blends deep systems knowledge, practical engineering, and clear-headed leadership—solving tough infrastructure problems in production environments.
